Don’t Screen Us Out launch new website for their community
Down’s syndrome advocacy group Don’t Screen Us Out have, this evening, launched a new website.
Don’t Screen Us Out is a group of over 17,000 people with Down’s syndrome, their families and supporters who are actively working to build a United Kingdom where people with Down’s syndrome are equally valued and have an equal chance of being born.
The new website has been launched to provide a centrepoint to the community of people involved with the organisation and will enhance the very large existing social media presence that the organisation runs across major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
The website launches a refreshed look for the organisation’s brand and provides a clear outline of the organisation’s vision and the work they are doing to realise this vision.
The platform will be updated with fresh content on a regular basis including press releases, articles and videos – it is also built so that it works seamlessly across all devices including tablets and smartphones.
Members of the public can visit the new website at www.dontscreenusout.org.
Lynn Murray, spokesperson for Don’t Screen Us Out and mother of Rachel who has Down’s syndrome, said:
“It’s really exciting to see our amazing, cutting edge, new website launched this evening.
Since we launched the organisation in 2016, we have seen the number of people involved with the organisation grow to over 17,000 people with Down’s syndrome, their families and supporters.
We are actively working to build a United Kingdom where people with Down’s syndrome are equally valued and have an equal chance of being born.
Those who are involved with the organisation are joined by millions of people who see our content on social media each year and at the centre of that work is our website.
The new refreshed branding, content and wider website provides a new platform for us to grow our community further and continue to reach millions of people worldwide each year”.
